Though Irish divers have some of the best diving in the world on their doorstep, many choose to holiday abroad quite frequently. Of course, anyone who has regularly hauled the complete set of gear needed to comfortably dive this cold water climate will understand this perfectly. Ireland, for all its attraction, could not be described as warm. And that’s above land. If you choose to go underwater, drysuits are the norm even through many of the summer months. It comes as no surprise therefore that your typical active Irish diver will budget for a warm water diving trip once a year or so. Think of it as an opportunity to enjoy the freedom and relaxation that a few extra sea degrees brings to the sport. The articles below are a collection of trip reports from some of these varied diving destinations.
